The Combined Motion, Notice, & Brief
-
Segment ProgressBar
INTRODUCTION
Ask your instructor what form he or she prefers. Combined Motion, Notice and Brief, or separate?
Lecture Notes . . .
FORM OF BRIEF
The combined brief is common, but not as common as the separate motion, notice, and brief. There is no right or wrong choice (unless your instructor says so).
For your final written assignment, the motion, notice, and brief, you will spend most of your time on the trial brief. It argues your client's position.
