FEDERAL LOCAL COURT RULES

This set of loose-leaf volumes is a great resource for the local rules of federal court, both trial and appellate. For example, the F.R.C.P. (Federal Rules of Civil Procedure) governs all federal civil trials. But each local court has its own set of local rules that supplement the general, national rules. This publication collects those local rules to each individual court.

THE INDEX

Each set of rules has its own index, which will lead the researcher to the appropriate rule within that jurisdiction. First, the researcher simply looks up the court rules for the specific court (which are arranged alphabetically by jurisdiction), the locates the index at the end of that set of local rules.
