DIRECTIONS: First, open up the Template (which will appear in the main window at the top-right of the screen). Then simply click on each element of the document in the left-hand column. Instructions will appear at the bottom of the web page.

VIDEO INSTRUCTIONS: Many of the labs include video instructions. If you prefer to use video, listen to the lecture and when the instructor advises you to pause the video, do so while you make changes to the template.

COPYING YOUR FINAL PRODUCT: We recommend that you frequently copy the template as you alter it in case your Internet conneciton is lost. Paste the temporary copy into Microsoft Word, which has an autosave feature. When you are finished, copy your work, paste it into a word processor, and save it to your hard drive.
