INTRODUCTION

These bonus terms, for the most part, apply to both civil and criminal law but did not fit into the flow of the Case of the Near-sighted Owl. Chain of Custody is generally associated with criminal cases, where the history of collection and storage of evidence is often subject to scrutiny. However, in some cases, it may be relevant to civil matters as well.

The rest of the terms are certainly applicable to both civil and criminal cases.
