How to Study
1. READ THE CHAPTER
Prior to using the study support tools within this website, read the entire chapter being studied.
2. LOGIN TO THE STUDY SUPPORT WEBSITE
Select the main menu option that correspoinds to the chapter being studied in the textbook. Once you are in the Chapter Study Support, use the tools that are provided for this course, such as PowerPoint Demonstrations, Lecture Notes, or Chapter Review. These materials are intended to provide similar information that a live instructor would offer, such as relevant points to consider and answers to questions posed by the textbook, or commonly posed by students.
3. TAKE THE CHAPTER QUIZ
Each chapter concludes with a quiz. The quiz helps you determine whether you are ready to proceed to the next chapter. You may take the quiz as many times as you like. It is not submitted to the school or the instructor.
When reviewing quiz results, don't just focus on what the correct answers should have been for questions answered incorrectly. Instead, ask yourself WHY you missed the question. Review the textbook and materials related to those questions. Take written notes about the questions you missed. If you understand why you got something wrong, you own it!
Assignments
Students are not required to turn in assignments unless otherwise instructed. However, it will benefit you to engage in some of the assignments and collect them in a folder for your own future reference. This program is for your benefit, so the more you put into it, the more you will be prepared.
Assessment
Upon completion of the program you will take the Final Exam. Prior to taking the exam you should review your notes and the chapter quizzes. The Final Exam may only be taken once, so be prepared.
