PART 1

1. After the summons and complaint have been answered during the pretrial stage.

5. Yes. Even though there is not always a notary public witnessing the signing, the court assumes that any response is given under oath.


PART 2

1. It would help the client avoid giving too much information, or inaccurate information.

2. The client may ask for legal advice. Or the paralegal may influence the responses, instead of assisting in wording them. Remember, it is the client who is answering, not the paralegal!

3. All of the documents are responded to under oath.
